Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant JSC

Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant (TVSZ) is the youngest and most updated transport engineering enterprise in Russia. Production capacities: 18,400 of freight cars, 30,000 of car casting sets and 67,000 of wheelsets per year. The plant has mastered production of more than 20 most popular freight wagon models in the market. TVSZ built 16,500 increased loading freight cars in 2018. Over 6 years of work on the CIS railways network, shippers transported almost 200 million tons of cargo in open cars of a new generation by TVSZ (11% more than in old-style wagons).

The company's products are actively promoted in the global market. The plant obtained the status of supplier for the largest railway operator and infrastructure owner in Europe, Deutsche Bahn in 2018, and subsequently signed a contract for supply of multiple-unit flatbed wagons for operation in the European market.
